PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nothing from culture goes to waste: the Work Vest is the result of a collaboration between SpazioErre, the Museo del Tessuto, and designer Ilaria Ferrari. This modular and multifunctional garment gives new life to PVC advertising banners used in the museum’s exhibitions. Designed for a variety of manual and creative activities, the vest features practical Velcro fastenings for a customizable fit. The multiple-sized pockets are perfect for holding tools, pens, and other essentials, while the upper insert—made from recycled plastic bottle caps—provides a convenient attachment point for keys or other small items. Ideal for woodworking, bicycle repair, and artistic or craft-related work.

SpazioErre is a youth association committed to raising awareness about plastic waste reuse.
Through a collaboration between SpazioErre, the Museo del Tessuto, and designer Ilaria Ferrari, the idea was born to transform PVC advertising banners—used during the museum’s exhibitions—into useful and sustainable objects. Through creative recycling, discarded materials are repurposed into products such as containers, vests, and multifunctional mats. Each piece carries a part of the museum’s history, where recovered materials tell a new story of sustainability and innovation.
