An accessory with a tassel displaying a person’s initial letter. It can be tied to a bag, a piece of furniture key, or used as a table place marker by tying it to a chair or napkin. It is patiently handmade, creating the warp and weft with unique and durable yarns, in a play of colors that is also echoed in the tassel tied below.

Taftique is an atelier located in Florence, where the Dutch artist Jules Vissers translates traditional textile techniques into contemporary works. Jules graduated with honors in Art Fabrics from the Florence Academy of Fine Arts and received the European Textile & Craft Award 2024 from the European Textile Academy in Bolzano. She combines hand-tufting with other techniques such as embroidery, punch needle, weaving, fiber emballage, tatting, and crochet.
