The Textile Museum presents the first edition of RIGENERA – Educational Tour on Sustainable Fashion, a high-level learning experience exploring the themes of sustainability and circularity in the heart of the Prato textile district. Part of the European project EPIC (Experience Prato Industrial Culture), the Summer School offers a direct and hands-on approach: from 29 June to 3 July 2026, 15 participants aged 18 to 35 will have the opportunity to take part in five intensive days including masterclasses with experts, educational visits to leading companies in the supply chain, workshops, testimonials, best practice exchanges, and keynote speeches. Aimed at recent graduates, industry professionals, and individuals in educational or professional transition, the Summer School seeks to develop concrete skills to help guide the fashion system toward more responsible models, while enhancing local industrial heritage as both a learning resource and a driver for conscious tourism.
Selected participants are required to pay a participation fee of €200. The fee is the same regardless of profile or country of origin.
The organisation will cover the following costs for all selected participants:
● Accommodation: stay for the entire duration of the programme (6 nights, from 28 June to 3 July 2026), in a hotel to be confirmed, for participants not residing in the Prato area.
● Local transport: all transfers included in the programme – company visits, workshops, and district tours – will be covered by a dedicated shuttle service, at no additional cost.
Participants are responsible for travel expenses to and from Prato, daily meals, personal expenses, and any other costs not explicitly included in this notice.
The organisation will also cover selected social events planned during the programme.
