Raw-cut, entirely handmade swimsuit. This ultra-fine, quick-drying one-piece offers a perfect fit without digging in or leaving marks. A unique one-piece that feels like it’s sculpted on your body while being as comfortable as a bikini. Unlined.
The Matilde model can also be worn as a bodysuit, completing your summer outfits beyond the beach. The fabric comes from a Tuscan deadstock textile warehouse.

The powder blue version differs from the bicolor model in the strap design (see photos).
Fit: Very stretchy and seamless, fits up to an Italian size 42 (M/L). Recommended for heights starting from 1.63 m (5’4”).
Salmastra Swimwear is a handcrafted brand born in 2019 on the Tuscan coast, in Castiglioncello. Carlotta, the founder of this project, designs and sews each piece entirely by hand, using materials sourced from local businesses, warehouses, and markets, with a focus on repurposing fabrics and accessories from deadstock. The goal is to make women feel comfortable and beautiful, moving away from big fast-fashion swimwear brands and creating a deep connection with the local area and environment.
After swimming in the sea, soak in cold or lukewarm water before laying out to dry. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
