Headband, 100% made in Prato and entirely handcrafted in the IlariaCreazioneCappelli workshop using regenerated fabrics and production leftovers from the Prato-based company Lanificio Mannelli.
Available in two color variations and two different heights, it features a light padding for added comfort. This piece was designed for the Museo del Tessuto di Prato e-commerce platform as part of a recycling initiative in collaboration with local textile companies. Even its packaging—a linen pouch made from antique fabric—aligns perfectly with the philosophy of creative upcycling. Simple yet chic, it is a stylish accessory for any occasion.

The ILARIA CREAZIONE CAPPELLI artisan workshop, founded by Ilaria Innocenti, a Tuscan Master Artisan in millinery, has been dedicated to sustainability since its establishment in 2005. Rooted in tradition, it employs artisanal methods and tools from ancient millinery techniques to create unique, made-to-order pieces with zero waste.
Using existing materials—such as leather and tailoring offcuts, fabric samples, upholstery textiles, and repurposed elements like buckles and buttons from discontinued accessories and garments—the workshop gives new life to discarded resources. This commitment to material recovery and ethical craftsmanship is deeply embedded in a philosophy of recycling and sustainability.
It is recommended to gently hand wash, do not machine wash, and avoid the dryer.
