She defines herself as a slow fashion designer, crafting high-quality garments with the wearer in mind, making them functional and versatile through design details, tailoring techniques, and “forgotten fabrics”—remnants from past seasons or unsold stock from textile factories and clothing manufacturers. These are high-quality materials that would otherwise be wasted, ending up in landfills or being incinerated. The artisan searches through the high shelves of warehouses, falls in love with the fabrics, tests their texture, listens to their story, and then envisions them worn by someone who one day will want to feel “ne su’ cenci.”
